Straight out of Nelson and Kaslo BC, 20 year DJ NEURoNiC (Nevin Kern) has a passion for spinning lots of heavy dance music and some chill shit on the side. When it comes to absolute bangers NEURoNiC is the man! His taste for different genres is well know for his wicked song selection spreads across the decks. He likes to drop everything from Glitchhop, Funk, Dubstep, DnB, Drumstep, Breaks, Hip-hop, and mid-tempo bangerz!
In the last 2 years Nev has opened for DJ/Producer headliners such as Doctor P, Dieselboy, Jay Wikid, Deeps and Myles Away and has performed live at shows and music festivals in the Kootenays like Loki Music Festival http://www.lokifest.com/, and he has also participated with Shambhala Music Festival as a Volunteer for the VIP/Talent Zone.
"When I first got into DJing I was participating in lots of outdoor music events, volunteering and making some cash as well. I started with cleaning up trash, washing bassbins, setting up and taking down sound and lighting equipment for my buddy Darby (DJ Application/Application Audio). Eventually I was helping with bigger and bigger festivals like Loki and Shambhala, setting up and taking down PK sound systems and eventually playing on those PK sound systems! My dream is to one day play at a Shambhala stage... maybe one day I will.... "
